Tornado cleanup in Ferguson, Mo. { 13 images } Created 26 Apr 2011

Lori Chisholm and Joel Howell, parishioners at Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Church and School in Ferguson, Mo., suffered substantial damage to their home in the Aprill 22, 2011 Good Friday tornado that struck St. Louis. Friends, family and volunteers from their parish descended on the house Monday, April 25, 2011 to help start the recovery.

  • 25 APRIL 2011 -- FERGUSON, Mo. -- A fallen tree rests in the backyard of the home of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta parishioners Joe Howell and Lori Chisholm on Royal Avenue in Ferguson, Mo. on Monday, April 25, 2011, three days after the Good Friday tornado that damaged and destroyed homes across North St. Louis County. A group of volunteers spent Monday helping the family clean and repair as much tornado damage as they could, although the storm damaged the building sufficiently to have it declared uninhabitable by the City of Ferguson.
