21 OCT. 2016 -- ST. LOUIS -- Mural artist Gonz Jove (left) talks with well wishers during an open house unveiling of Jove's recently completed "Art and Empowerment Mural" at the headquarters complex of Better Family Life, Inc. in the Hamilton Heights neighborhood of St. Louis Friday, Oct. 21, 2016. Jove spent three years working on the project, which charts the history of the African diaspora from origins in Africa through modern African-American culture and events. Also part of the open house at Better Family Life was the newly-opened Business Development Center, which provides space and support for 10 small business in space adjoining offices occupied by the Center for Acceleration of African-American Businesses, Missouri Department of Social Services and Washington University's Brown School of Social Work.
