The Most Rev. Robert J. Carlson, Archbishop of St. Louis, has a serious conversation with Charleen Walsh during a reception following a Mass commemorating the 10th anniversary of his installation as Archbishop of St. Louis Sunday, June 9, 2019 at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis in the city's Central West End neighborhood. After a decade leading the Catholic Church in St. Louis Carlson will turn 75 on June 30, and as required by the Code of Canon Law, plans to submit his open-ended retirement letter for Pope Francis.
