The firm plans to build hybrid electric vehicles for both the domestic and export auto markets in a plant proposed for Hazelwood. The company was purchased in 2014 by Zhejiang Geely Holding Group, a Chinese company. Officials said the purchase provides financing for a planned assembly line in Hazelwood.
