22 DEC. 2011 -- ST. LOUIS -- Anthony Lamar Smith's fiancée Christina Wilson (left) is joined by family and friends displaying balloons Thursday, Dec. 22, 2011 before a candlelight vigil remembering Smith in the Church's Fried Chicken parking lot in the Walnut Park neighborhood of St. Louis where Smith became involved in an altercation with police that led to a chase and to Smith being shot by an officer. Smith later was pronounced dead at an area hospital after the Wednesday chase.
