LOUIS -- After graduation, Washington University in St. Louis senior Lisa Gorham will continue her research on adolescent mental health at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Md. Gorham, who was captain of the WUSTL cross-country, track and indoor track teams, has research from her undergraduate studies published in Biological Psychiatry: Cognitive Neuroscience and Neuroimaging reporting that children who participate in team sports have greater hippocampal volume.
