22 NOV. 2012 -- WEBSTER GROVES, Mo. -- Webster Groves High School athletics and medical staff check on Statesman JV football players following a massive celebration pile following an interception return for touchdown on the final play of the annual Thanksgiving Turkey Day Game against Kirkwood High School at Moss Field in Webster Groves Thursday, Nov. 22, 2012. Corey Mack returned the interception for a score, and the team and fans flooded the field and swamped Mack and others in the end zone. Although several players seemed appeared to have the wind knocked from them in the pile up, none received medical treatment on the field. Kirkwood will play for the MSHSAA Class 5 state title Friday night, so the annual game featured the school's Junior Varsity teams, with Webster winning 29-21. Photo © copyright 2012 Sid Hastings.
