Danforth Center on Religion and Politics at Washington University in St. Louis hosted Dr. Eddie Glaude Jr., chair of the Department of African American Studies and the James S. McDonnell Distinguished University Professor at Princeton University, as he delivered the lecture "James Baldwin and the Moral Crisis of American Democracy," drawn from research for his forthcoming book, "Begin Again: James Baldwin’s America and Its Urgent Lessons for Our Own" a Graham Chapel on the Danforth Campus in St. Louis Thursday, Oct. 24, 2019.
