17 July 2011 -- ST. LOUIS -- Andronike Giannopoulos (right), a teacher from Chicago, prepares to fire a flintlock musket with help from French reenactors Max Burkheart (left) and Keith Welch (center) during the Bastille Day Celebration at Chatillon DeMenil in St. Louis Sunday, July 17, 2011. Bastille Day commemorates the storming in 1789 of the Bastille, the Parisian prison where revolutionaries and criminals were imprisoned by the French Monarchy. The French Revolution followed, with the Monarchy overthrown in 1792. The men are members of French Régiment de Guyenne, which fought in North America during the French and Indian War (also known as the Seven Years War).
