2023-12-04 -- Dr. Heather Cox Richardson, history professor at Boston College and author of the popular newsletter “Letters from an American,” joined Washington University in St. Louis professor Dr. Laurie Maffly-Kipp for the conversation ”Democracy Awakening: Notes on the State of America with Heather Cox Richardson” Monday, Dec. 4, 2023 at Graham Chapel on the WashU campus in St. Louis. The event, sponsored by the John C. Danforth Center on Religion and Politics, was preceded by a midday lunch discussion with students and was followed by a reception for lecture attendees.
