2023-10-11 -- Washington University in St. Louis doctoral student Ashlynn Berry, in her third year of study at WashU, poses for a photograph Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2023 in her work space at the Stadtler Lab in Louderman Hall on the Danforth Campus in St. Louis. Berry was recently honored with a Department of Energy Graduate Student Research award, and is a member of the WashU student group Catalyst for Change (C4C), which promotes science to first-year high school girls. Her research focuses on developing new materials for green production of hydrogen fuel, an alternative to gasoline for fueling cars and trucks.
