Washington University in St. Louis and the John C. Danforth Center on Religion & Politics hosted professors Robert George and Cornel West for the conversation "Liberal Arts Education: What’s The Point?" at Graham Chapel on the Danforth Campus in St. Louis Tuesday, April 16, 2019. Dr. George is the McCormick Chair in Jurisprudence at Princeton University and directs the James Madison Program in American Ideals and Institutions, while Dr. West is Professor of the Practice of Public Philosophy at Harvard University and Professor Emeritus at Princeton. WU Provost Holden Thorp welcome participants and Dr. Marie Griffith, Director of the Danforth Center, introduced the speakers and moderated the conversation. The program was cosponsored by The Veritas Forum.
