APRIL 18, 2012 -- RED BUD, Ill. -- Lottery winner Merle Butler (right) and his wife Patricia Butler join Illinois Lottery superintendent Michael Jones (left) and Red Bud, Ill. mayor Tim Lowry during a press conference April 18, 2012 in Red Bud announcing that the Butlers were winners of $218.6 million during the multi-state Mega Millions lottery. It was their share for having one of three winning tickets to the $656 million grand prize for the March 30, 2012 drawing. Other winning tickets were sold in Kansas and Maryland.
