21 Dec. 2020 -- CADET, Mo. -- Volunteer Ronald Niswanger (right) helps load Megan Pierce’s car with Christmas gift boxes for families in need of assistance during the pandemic from the Rural Parish Workers of Christ the King Monday, Dec. 21, 2020 in Cadet, Mo. The group, a secular institute of vowed Catholic women of the Archdiocese of St. Louis, was forced to cancel its 2020 fundraising dinner that financed Christmas gift boxes and instead asked people to contribute what they could. This raised $112,000, far surpassing last year's record total of $93,000 raised at the 2019 dinner. Photo © copyright 2020 Sid Hastings.
