Members of the order have joined others calling for a federal cleanup of radioactive materials illegally dumped at the West Lake Landfill, which pose a threat if the area is flooded by the nearby Missouri River or if a fire burning in the adjoining Bridgeton Sanitary Landfill spreads to the West Lake Landfill.
