The tournament, a fundraiser for SSM Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital's Cardiac Hybrid Catheterization Suite, honors Mary McDermott, daughter of Connie and Bill McDermott, who died at 24 in 2008 after suffering cardiac and liver problems throughout her life. A silent auction, with sports memorabilia from star athletes from the St. Louis Cardinals, St. Louis Blues and from international soccer stars, is part of the fundraiser.
