LOUIS -- STL250, a group of civic and political leaders steering the regions celebration of the founding of St. Louis on Feb. 14, 1764, has placed decorated fiberglass cakes are various institutions across the region. The effort is known as the "Cakeway to the West." At the Laumeier Sculpture Park in Sunset Hills a cake decorated by Laumeier staff stands on the north side of the lower parking lot off of Rott Road.
