Morgan, who mentored Adam, was the first woman to make the U.S. national team in 2009, but did not make a Paralympic roster during her international career. Adam, who also graduated from Augusta College in 2013 with a degree in psychology, is an assistant professor of occupational science and occupational therapy at St. Louis University.
