Washington University in St. Louis and the John C. Danforth Center on Religion & Politics hosted professors Robert George and Cornel West for a dinner with faculty, staff and friends of the Center in the Ann W. Olin Women's Building Formal Lounge on the Danforth University Center in St. Louis Tuesday, April 16, 2019. The group gathered before the evening presentation "Liberal Arts Education: What’s The Point?" Dr. George is the McCormick Chair in Jurisprudence at Princeton University and directs the James Madison Program in American Ideals and Institutions, while Dr. West is Professor of the Practice of Public Philosophy at Harvard University and Professor Emeritus at Princeton. Dr. Marie Griffith, Director of the Danforth Center, hosted the dinner.
