21 MAY 2017 -- BRIDGETON, Mo. -- Descendants of soldiers who fought for the Confederate States of America during the American Civil War pause during the playing of taps during the annual Confederate Memorial Day remembrance held at Fee Fee Cemetery in Bridgeton Sunday, May 21, 2017. The event is sponsored by the James Morgan Utz Camp 1815 of the Sons of Confederate Veterans and the Gen. Francis Marion Cockrell Chapter 84 of the Military Order of Stars and Bars and is held at the gravesite of Col. James Utz, a Confederate soldier from Missouri who was convicted of spying and executed in St. Louis Dec. 26, 1864. Photo © copyright 2017 Sid Hastings.
