11 MARCH 2018 -- ST. LOUIS -- Francis Aubuchon (left), a descendant of German immigrant Ignatius Strecker, touches a relic of St. Peter Claver held by usher Jim Fuller during Mass at the Shrine of St. Joseph Sunday, March 11, 2018 in the Columbus Square neighborhood of St. Louis. Aubuchon and other Strecker descendants gathered to remember the healing of the Strecker, thought mortally ill, during an 1864 service honoring Jesuit priest Peter Claver, a missionary who worked among slaves in South America during the 17th century.
